Poconos Paintball
Paintball. It was created before most
people that play were born, but in recent years the
extreme game has found a revitalization as paintball
fields pop up around the nation. Those who love the
game will drive for hours to play at a new field to
test their skills against the locals. Or maybe to just
light up a few newbs. If you happen to be in or around
the Pocono Mountains, there are two fields you shouldn't
miss.
Skirmish USA, just outside Jim Thorpe,
Pennsylvania, is known for its award winning paintball
fields. With twelve fields such as Tippmann City, a
mock town with twenty-seven buildings or the Tippmann
Castle with ten towers, six gates and inner rooms to
hide in, you are sure to leave with enough bruises to
show off to your buddies. There is even a downed helicopter.
Make sure to check out their rates and specials at skirmish.com.
Also located near Jim Thorpe is Pocono
Mountain Paintball. PMP has eighteen fields with three
scenario fields. The fields are arranged so that there
is no long bus ride to get to anywhere you want to go.
Try out the challenging Bear's Den, Fort Courage
or any other of their fields with range of terrain from
streams and hills. You can find them at playpaintballhere.com.
So if you're one of those guys
that has markers and masks strewn throughout your house,
you might as well try both. Because after all, true
paintballers never miss an opportunity to gog someone.
